The morons at Google have, for reasons of their own, voluntarily restored service on two of the three blogs they pulled off line on July 31st--the two blogs that I had voluntarily suspended because keeping up two per day is enough effort. Perhaps, having read the blogs, they noted that back when I was posting to those blogs, I had little to say about their baby-shit brown hero on there.They have not restored the main Thoughtcrime blog and have given me no indication whether they will or not. I don't want to get too much into what I'm doing to try and get the blogs back on line, since I don't fully understand what's going on myself--no idea who did this or why, although it's not hard to guess.
Like so much in today's society, the entire process is designed so that it is impossible for someone who has been injured by Google or who even has a question ever to speak to, or even locate, an actual human being. It's all canned e-mails.
